Harrington man arrested after domestic dispute

Police in Delaware say they have arrested a Harrington man following a domestic dispute on Sunday.
According to the Harrington Police Department, officers responded to Clarks Corner Apartments for a report of a domestic dispute in progress. When police arrived they contacted 29-year-old Damarius Turnage and the adult woman. Police say, Turgnage and the woman were in a verbal argument when it escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation Turnage reportedly hit the woman in the head with a picture frame and began choking her. Also police note during the assault there were three children, all under the age of 12 in the residence that witnessed the assault.
Turnage was taken into custody. He was charged with assault and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Turnage was released on $8,000 unsecured bond.
