Golf cart fire in Woolford under investigation

The Office of the State Fire Marshal says it is investigating the cause of a golf cart fire in Dorchester County.
According to the report, around 3:44AM on Wednesday, the owner of a golf cart noticed it was on fire and called it in. Firefighters from the Madison Fire Department responded to 1515 Water Road, in Woolford, and controlled the flames in about five minutes.
Officials say that the the area of origin and preliminary cause of the fire are both under investigation.
The report states that no arrests or injuries took place, but the estimated loss was noted at about $5,050 total.
