Georgetown man arrested after threatening his mother’s life

Police in Seaford say a Georgetown man has been arrested after he threaten to kill his mother.
According to reports on Thursday around 1:40 PM, officers were called to a home on the 200 block of Front Street. Once on scene the mother of 26-year-old Nicholas Davis reportedly told police her son had been arguing with herself and his sister then the argument escalated. Davis allegedly became violent holding a knife to his mother’s throat threatening to kill her. Davis then reportedly fled the home in his sister’s car. Seaford Police say he was apprehended a short time later.
Davis is facing a number of charges including robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, aggravated menacing, strangulation, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, offensive touching, disorderly conduct, and driving without a valid license. He has been released on $300,000 unsecured bond pending preliminary hearing.
