Firefighters respond to blaze at Allen Harim plant

Members of the Milton Fire Department say a janitor’s room at the Allen Harim plant, is likely a total loss after a blaze Tuesday afternoon.
47 ABC spoke with Jay Clark from the Milton Fire Department, who says he was made aware of the call around 2:16 p.m. Crews from the Indian River, Georgetown, and Lewes departments all assisted with handling the blaze, which was under control in about an hour, Clark says.
Allen Harim employees were evacuated from the building at the time of the blaze, however were allowed back in the building once the fire was contained.
Clark says one worker was treated for a medical issue on scene, but was not transported to any area hospitals and is expected to be okay.
Areas of Harbeson Road and a nearby train track were closed while that investigation was cleared.
