DSP investigate Laurel home invasion

Members of the Delaware State Police say a home invasion took place on Saturday evening on Oasis Drive.

Troopers say around 6:45 p.m., at least one suspect confronted two adult males that were asleep inside the home and demanded money.

At one point, police say one of the victims was struck in the head with an unknown object, and the suspect (s) fled.

Troopers say no items were taken from the home during the incident, and the victim that was struck was treated at a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

At this point, DSP says there could have been anywhere between one and four male suspects involved in the home invasion.
