Dover woman found guilty and sentenced in connection with a 2015 drug trafficking ring

A Dover woman arrested in connection with a Kent County drug trafficking ring in January 2015 was found guilty and sentenced in Kent County on Tuesday.
According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, Tyra Mills of Dover, was found guilty of aggravated possession of cocaine, aggravated possession tier three quantity of heroin with aggravating factor, two counts of drug dealing tier four quantity of heroin, and possession of non-controlled prescription substance.
Mills was then sentenced to a total of 78 years level five suspended after 11 years followed by six months level four work release followed by 18 months probation.
Mills was arrested in January 2015 after she was reportedly one of the heads of a Delaware drug trafficking bust, along with 29-year-old Jermaine Brinkley, of Dover, and 28-year-old Warner Henry, of Smyrna.
After officials searched through Kent County, Wilmington, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they reportedly found 39 grams of heroin, 23 grams of suspected Fentanyl, five handguns and ammunition, $79,000 in suspected drug proceeds, and three motor vehicles.
Mills was later indicted in Kent County on 39 felony crimes including racketeering and numerous drug offenses. She was reported to be held on $1,467,000 cash bail.
