Dover police investigate two armed robberies

In Dover, police are currently investigating an armed robbery that happened Friday evening on East Division Street.

Police say at around 7:30 p.m. a man whose face was covered by a blue bandana, walked into the Little Grocer, displaying a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect then took the entire register and fled westbound on Division Street in a four-door silver or tan Hyundai Sonata.

This investigation is ongoing and have not identified the suspect.

And another armed robbery in Dover Saturday. Police say two men robbed the 7-Eleven in the Hamlet Shopping Center.

Police say it happened shortly after 1 p.m.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and other other went behind the counter and stole cash from the register as well as several packs of cigarettes.

Investigators have also not identified the suspects and it is an ongoing investigation.
