Dover PD investigating shots fired incident

Members of the Dover Police Department say they are is investigating a shots fired incident that happened on Monday afternoon.

According to the report, the shooting happened around 2:40PM in the Unit Block of South New Street when an unknown suspect, or suspects, fired multiple shots in the area. Officials say the shots hit two cars that were both parked and empty, and the suspect then ran in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
