Dover man arrested in connection with a shed burglary

Police say a man has been arrested in connection with the burglary of a shed.
According to Dover Police, officers responded to Lotus Street for a report of a burglary going on, where they found a victim who told police that 36-year-old Christopher Allen, of Dover, fled in a dark colored Dodge truck with a stripe down both sides after trying to steal a pressure washer. Officers reportedly saw a truck matching the description on DuPont Highway and contacted Mitchell.
Police say the victim identified the car, and suspect as being the same person. Police also say that several baseball cards found on the suspect belonged to the victim, and were stolen from his shed.
Allen also reportedly had multiple other pieces or property in the truck, such as speakers, tools, fishing equipment, and cell phones, that police say are believed to belong to other victims in the area.
Christopher Allen was released on $6,500 unsecured bond on charges of third degree burglary, theft under $1,500, and driving while suspended.
If anyone recognizes the pictures as their own, police say they should call 302-736-7126 to come pick them up. Police are asking them to bring a photo ID and contact information, so the investigating officers can follow up also.
