Delaware State Police creates Crime Mapping technology source

Delaware State Police created a website service available to the public to show crime activities that may be occurring in your area.
This new service is called Crime Mapping, giving those access to see interactive maps of recent activities around their neighborhood, workplace, or even schools.
47 ABC spoke with DSP and they say the service offers a “Crime Tab” allowing you to see what crimes have been committed. The crimes can include assaults, robberies, and theft.
They say they will update the crime data on the website every 24 hours and the crimes will available up to 180 days passed the date the crime occurred.
DSP’s Public Information Officer, Sergeant Richards Bratz says this is a great way for citizens to make decisions to be safe. Bratz say you can also submit crime tips while using this new platform.
