Cape Edges Rival Sussex Tech Late

The Cape Henlopen football team did all they could to try and get themselves into the playoffs Friday night by edging rival Sussex Tech 32-12. The win improves the Vikings to 7-3, while the loss drops the Ravens to 5-5.
The Ravens would get on the board first after taking the opening drive down the field before Tyzhir Morris would find Griffin Dunn for a short score. Cape would fight right back, breaking a big touchdown run from Kolbi Wright to tie the game. Morris then would have answer by himself as he took a short run in off the right side for the score. Cape would fight back to tie the game before the half as Lulu Woods would break a 35 yards touchdown run up the right side. With the game in the balance, Cape would break through in the second half. Woods would start it with a touchdown in the 3rd. Tech would answer to take a 1 point lead into the 4th. Ben Ashby would break a 50 yarder to the endzone in the 4th though, only to have Woods put the game out of reach with another long score.
