Bucs clamp down late, get big south win over Delmar

The Milford Bucs got two fourth quarter goal-line stands, to preserve their late lead and hold on to defeat Delmar 35-18.

David Bowman finished with three rushing touchdowns on the night for the Buccanneers, who led 21-18 at the half. The Milford defense would clamp down in the second half, forcing a turnover on downs early in the fourth quarter, and then once again with just over 6 minutes remaining. Milford would put it away late when Willam Kimmel took a quarterback keeper 3-yards into the endzone.

Milford finishes up their regular season with the Battle of the Bell against rival Lake Forest, while Delmar visits undefeated Woodbridge.
