Black Friday safety tips

Black Friday is the first official day of the holiday season. While most people are looking forward to the sales of shopping on Black Friday, police officials are warning  folks about thieves who also anticipate this busy season.

Officials from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s office recommend people to not leave packages and shopping bags visible in your car, also to carry purses close to your body or your wallet inside a coat to avoid pickpocket. Additionally, if you’re shopping with children, make a plan in case you’re separated from each other.
