Bennett Caps Off Season With Win Over Wi-Hi

The James M. Bennett football team finished off their 2016 season with a win over rivals Wi-Hi 20-12. The win improves the Clippers to 5-5, while the loss drops the Indians to 3-7.
The Indians would come out strong early on in the game. After a scoreless first quarter, they would take the lead after Raekwon Mccarter. The Clippers would come right back though as joey Blake marched them down the field and found Matt Crystotome for a short touchdown pass. The point after would give them a 1 point lead. Headed into the 3rd quarter, the Clippers would strike again off another short touchdown pass from Blake to Patrick Magda. The Indians weren’t done just yet. Jason Patterson would find the endzone on a short touchdown run, but the two point attempt would fail as they trailed by 2. Bennett added another score to build a 8 point lead late. The Indians would have a chance late, but their hail marry would fall incomplete.
