Bears That Cares toy drive teams up with local pageant

In Hurlock today, the Bears That Cares Toy Drive teamed up with a pageant event to raise funds for the organization.
Many children participated in the pageant, with ages ranging from infants up to 12-year-olds and those in the pageant gave a $10 donation.
All of the money raised will go to Bears That Cares Toy Drive, which gives toys to families who are struggling financially.
Bears That Cares president, Michelle Webster, tells us that this program has grown very quickly. They currently help over 350 families and 800 children.
Webster tells 47 ABC Bears That Cares has been giving back to the community for years.
“When we first started it, I started it 19 years ago. So 19 years ago we started out with just 50 families. We actually took the toys to each residence with Santa Claus,” says Webster.
