Alleged KKK sightings at UMES

Thursday on Twitter page after page of people tweeting and re-tweeting about alleged KKK sightings on the campus of University of Maryland Eastern Shore. However despite all the alleged sightings, no photo evidence exists.

One person tweeted out  “second KKK sighting here at UMES on the train tracks y’all, be safe.  Don’t Walk Alone.”

According to another person on Twitter who we reached out to the alleged first sighting  came behind the student services center,  in a dark area outlined here in the photo.

However students we spoke to in person at Arden’s Run near campus said things don’t line up.

“Somebody said they was at the SSC last night, but I don’t believe that,” said student Brenden Wells. “Like they record everything else but that, like you can get a fight, you can get girls twerking at a party, but you can’t get the KKK…”

Another student Tyrone Holmes agreeing no evidence to him means there’s no cause for concern.

“I haven’t seen any photos or proof of it and I know how college students are if one person says something then everybody jumps on the band wagon and like so who’s to say it’s even real,” said student Tyrone Holmes.

Another theory brought up, this is just all a prank.

“I mean I seen a couple things you know, but a lot of people were doing this with the clowns, you know what I’m saying, it’s like an epidemic man you know,” said Brandon Anderson.

A spokesperson for the University tells us university police looked into the allegations reviewing all the surveillance video from all over the campus and have not found any credible evidence to support these claims.
