ALDI’s officially opens its first locations in Delaware

ALDI had their grand opening in Middletown and Camden on November 17, 2016, which will be the first ALDI locations in the state of Delaware.

Long lines wrapped around as customers were excited about high quality products with low prices.

Director of Operations Tom Fangras says their customers who usually buy their products can save about 50% compared to the national brand.

Fangras explains they have features like “ALDI Finds” which are new items coming in every week and 90% of their offerings carry their exclusive labels so you can only buy those items there.

When checking out make sure to bring your reusable bags because that’s all they use.

Plus you have to leave a quarter for a deposit to get your shopping cart but you get it back when you return the cart. This allows less carts to take over parking lots.

Fangras says they are hoping to expand more ALDI stores in the state of Delaware.
