Woman arrested after hitting man on head with bottle

On Friday, the Easton Police Department responded to Sidetracked, located at 10 North East Avenue, in regards to an assault.

According to the report, when officers arrived, they found William Glenn, 30, of Queen Anne, lying on the floor with a laceration to his head.

Investigators were able to find out that the suspect, identified as 28-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Straka, of Easton, hit Glenn in the head with a bottle.

Glenn was taken by ambulance to the Easton Hospital where he was treated for his injuries and later was released.

Straka was arrested and charged with assault 1st degree, assault 2nd degree, reckless endangerment, and was held on $50,000 bail at the Talbot County Detention Center.
