Wi-Hi Shakes Slow Start For Big Win At Snow Hill

The Wi-Hi football team traveled down the road on Friday night and picked up a nice conference win over Snow Hill 59-12. The win improves the Indians 3-4, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-7.
The Eagles came out firing early on, and would march right down the field. Amonty Allen would find DJ Thornton for a nice pick up to get it started. Shortly after that, Allen would air another one out to Thornton who would haul it in for the score. The Tribe would fight right back though. Jason Patterson would lead his team down the field and cap it off with a 25 yard touchdown run. After Snow Hill turned it over, the Indians would answer again with a short score form Patterson. Once the Indians took the lead, they never looked back as they rolled to the win.
Wi-Hi returns to action on Thursday when they host Queen Anne’s, while Snow Hill travels to Kent County on Thursday.
