Washington Football Crushes Hancock

The Washington football team picked up a big non-conference win Saturday afternoon when they defeated Hancock 61-0. The win improves the Jaguars to 2-3.

The Jaguars would score early and often in the game. Eric Ballard would drop back to pass on one of the first drives and find Tyler Poulson for a touchdown strike down the left sideline. Shortly after that, Ballard would air one on the exact same play, but this time find Markel Snyder for the score. Once the passing game got going, the running lanes really began to open up. Travelle Jones would break three straight touchdown runs as the rout was on. Washington’s defense would do the rest as they closed the door for the dominating win.

Washington returns to work on Saturday when they travel to play Wi-Hi.
