UPDATE: Two charges dropped in drug case involving Crisfield teacher

On Friday, two charges were dropped during a preliminary hearing for the Crisfield high school teacher accused of doing drugs on school property. Bonnie Crockett, was arrested last month after police police say she was found carrying an envelope of crushed pills, and a rolled up piece of paper.
According to court documents, she was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, and possession with intent to distribute on school property.
However during Friday’s preliminary hearing the judge said there wasn’t enough evidence to show Crockett was intending to distribute the drugs.
Crockett’s trial date has been set for January 23rd.
