UPDATE: Second martial arts employee charged with sex abuse of a minor

New details show that a second Mitchell’s Martial Arts employee may have been involved in the sexual abuse of underage female students. Zachariah Bennett is facing 27 child sex abuse charges, however it appears 21-year-old Leah Wright was also involved with one of the alleged victims.

According to court documents, Bennett admitted in a police interview that Wright took turns with a victim performing sexual acts on him. He also says that Wright served as a lookout for Bennett while he engaged in sexual acts with the same victim several weeks later.

Both sexual acts allegedly occurred at Mitchell’s Martial Arts in Salisbury.

In total Wright faces 21 child sex abuse charges for her alleged involvement in this crime.

Wright is currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
