UPDATE: Seaford assault suspect arrested

State Police say they have taken Leslie Williams into custody following an assault on October 5. Troopers say Williams was apprehended at his home without incident.

Members of the Delaware State Police are looking for a Leslie Williams, 51, of Seaford, after they say he fled from the scene of a violent domestic assault.

Williams is believed to have confronted the male victim who was in the presence of Williams’ girlfriend.  Police describe the victim’s wound as a “form of a laceration” to his upper torso.

State Police also add that Williams has an active no contact order with his girlfriend prohibiting him from having contact with her or being at her residence.

Williams is now wanted by the Delaware State Police for Assault, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During Commission of a Felony, and Breech of Release.
