According to reports, fire crews responded to a home on the 300 block of Pryor Avenue around 7AM on Monday. They tell us upon entering the single family home they found a deceased adult male. Fire officials on scene tell 47 ABC he was the only one in the home during the fire and he was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
Details are still limited at the moment, but neighbors at the scene told 47 ABC what they saw.
“My dogs woke me up at like 7 o’clock and there was about 10 to 174 fire trucks lined up down the street. After about an hour they had brought somebody out on a stretcher, says Christopher Neill.
Fire officials say the home sustained $25, 000 thousand dollars in damage and additional $5,000 in personal contents. We’re told the identity of the man is unknown at this time.
