UPDATE: PCCC locates missing offender

The Delaware Department of Correction says that Allen James, who absconded from the PCCC, has been apprehended.
According to the report, around 9AM on Monday, James was pulled over in a traffic stop on West 3rd Street by the Wilmington Police Department and was apprehended on an escape warrant.
The officer notified the Plummer Center around 8:50PM, and the warrant will be executed by the Wilmington Police Department and James will be taken to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington.

Authorities in Wilmington say they are searching for an inmate, who absconded.
The Plummer Community Corrections Center, in Wilmington, says that 35-year-old Allen James has absconded.
James is described by law enforcement as a male, standing 6’00”, weighing 170 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. He also apparently has tattoos on both arms, his back, both forearms, his right hand, and on his abdomen. His last known address is reported as being in Wilmington, Delaware.
Officials say that James’ location is unknown, and unauthorized at this time, so a warrant for escape and conviction has been issued. According to the report, James’ current offense is violation of probation, and tier 2 possession.
It is important to keep in mind that Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities, where the Department of Correction manages offenders who are transitioning back into the community. So, these centers are not secured like Level 5 prisons, meaning offenders are permitted to the leave the facility to go to work, seek jobs or attend approved treatment sessions.
