UPDATE: Charging docs outline sex crimes against three minors

New details are outlined in charging documents against Zachariah Bennett. He’s the Salisbury martial arts instructor facing 27 charges involving child sex abuse. Bennett was an instructor at Mitchell’s Martial Arts at the time of the alleged incidents. He was terminated after the allegations came to light.

Officials say during their investigation into one alleged victim, they discovered two more. The charging documents detail sexual acts that took place inside of Mitchell’s Martial Arts involving victims one and two. Bennett is accused of having each perform oral sex on him, amongst other things. Victims two and three reported receiving sexually explicit texts. The alleged victims ages at the time range from 13 to 15-years-old.

Charging documents also show that Bennett admitted to some, but not all of the statements made by the victims, during an interview. More charges are expected in Ocean City, Maryland for acts involving victim three.

Bennett is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
