Trial dates set for Pocomoke misconduct case

On Thursday,  former Pocomoke Police Chief Kelvin Sewell and former Lieutenant Lynell Green both had a criminal motions hearing, they’re facing misconduct in office charges that were issued in July. Sewell and Green allegedly interfered with a car crash investigation in November of 2014.

The indictment states they did this to “benefit a local correctional officer”, Douglas Matthews. Both are face similar counts,  conspiracy to commit misconduct in office and misconduct in office. Sewell’s trial is scheduled for December 1st and Green’s is scheduled for December 19th.
