Three people were killed in a Queen Anne’s County car crash

In Centreville, three people were killed and one was injured in a two-vehicle car crash.
The deceased are identified as 25-year-old Amelia J. Sichler, 21-year-old Samantha N. Roark, and 20-year-old Thomas Mozingo.
Sichler and Roark were pronounced dead at the scene. Mozingo was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The injured person is identified as 25-year-old John P. Ford, where he remains hospitalized. According to Maryland State Police, around 3:30 today, Mozingo was driving southbound on Route 213, just north of Clanahan Shop road with his passenger Roark. MSP say Ford was driving northbound along with Sichler.
Police report that according to witness information, Mozingo had just passed a vehicle and he moved back into the travel lane.
MSP say he attempted to pass the next vehicle on the left in a no passing zone. Evidence indicated as Ford was approaching, he saw Mozingo attempting to pass and took action by moving to the far right portion of the northbound shoulder of the highway.
Despite his efforts, the car was struck by Mozingo’s vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
