Sussex Tech Volleyball Takes 5 Set Match Over Holly Grove

The Sussex Tech volleyball team earned a tough 3-2 win Tuesday night over Holly Grove. The win improves the Ravens to 4-0.

The teams would be in a battle throughout the entirety of the match. Tech would take the first set after getting a couple nice kills from Mariah Reid. The Eagles came to play though, and would find some success of their own in the second set, powered by a couple nice Megan Chaffins. The teams continued to exchange runs headed into a winner takes all 5th. There, the Ravens would make just one more play as they narrowly pulled out a 15-13 win.

Sussex Tech returns to work on Thursday when they travel to Caesar Rodney, while Holly Grove host Chincoteage on Wednesday.
