Sussex Tech Runs Past Polytech

The Sussex Tech football team picked up another conference win Friday night after rolling past Polytech 41-14. The win improves the Ravens to 4-3, while the loss drops he Panthers to 1-6.
Polytech would actually strike first after Douglas Reed would take one 80 yards to the house. The Panthers looked fired up, but it would be all Ravens from there. Tyzhir Morris would cap off a long drive with a short touchdown run to give Sussex Tech a 1 point lead. Then on their next drive, Morris would throw a perfect pass to Noah Jones for another score. The second quarter belonged to Jordan Waters. He would pound in a couple short touchdown as the game began to get out of reach. Polytech would try and get back into the game by going to the air, but Christian Littleton would pick one off and take it back to the house for a score. Sussex Tech’s defense would do the rest as they held on for the win.
Sussex Tech returns to work on Friday when they travel to Dover, while Polytech host Sussex Central on Friday.
