Highlights from today's games.

welcome back. time for some sports. hayley, this afternoon we had a college soccer match featuring two teams from the shore. yeah, certainly some local rooting interest. the salisbury women’s team took on the wesley wolverines at home. the sea gulls were all about domination in this thing. scoreless in the first half. jackie lambergman goes to jenny gavigan who fires it in. sam brannigan comes up with the stop for the wolverines. jenna taylorwith the ball in front in front of the goal. shes got a good shot… brannigan with the save, and boy does her defender help her out, clearing the ball. tabitha brown with the ball outside, kicks it in and erin mcquate redirects it for the sea gulls score. minutes later, the wolverines looking to answer. thewoman the myth and the ledgend aleya cummings sends the ball to madison roberts who rockets it home for the score to tie it up. mcquate with another chance… brannigan shuts her down. then brown tries, she’s denied. but the seagulls would roll to win this one, 5-1 the final. to the bowling lanes! maryland eastern shore’s tha-shine-a seraus arned meac bowler of the week honors. serous was named to the bethume-cookman invitational all-tournament team as she helped the hawks to a third place finish. she tossed 168 total frames, strowing an incredible 95 strikes and 43 spares. to college football, wesley got its fourth straight win last weekend over rowan university. and some wolverines received honors this week after helping their team get the victory. senior linebacker ben robinson was named the ecac defensive player of the week. he tallied a team high 12 tackles and nine solo stops. freshmen aaron nelson was named conference rookie of the week, after averaging 62.5 yards per kickoff this weekend, adding one touchback. the wolverines return to action at home this saturday as they host montclair state university. that’s it for sports – more news and weather straight ahead. stay with us. catch more of the action on our sports page at 47abc.com here’s a
