Special Halloween delivery made to Anchorage center

were not meant to give anyone a fright this halloween. they were students from saint francis de sales catholic school. about one-hundred and eighty students decorated pumpkins and greeting cards this morning — before delivering them to the anchorage nursing and rehabilitation center. according to school officials — the pumpkins were donated by a local farmer. but the purpose of this delivery — is to teach the students about being self-less. in many ways, many kind of think of halloween as the ”me-time” where i’m getting candy. this way we kind of turn it around and we use halloween as an opportunity to bring joy to others but we’re having fun while we’re doing it we have more pictures taken at the school this morning. check them out at 47abc dot com. and if you are heading out tonight to harvest some candy with the kiddos – we have trick-or-treat times across delmarva — listed on our website, as well. the election countdown clock is ticking
