Smyrna turns it on to take out Tech

Smyrna senior quarterback Nolan Henderson accounted for 6 touchdowns as his Eagles moved to 6-0, defeating Sussex Tech 54-22 on Friday night.

5 of Henderson’s scores came thru the air, with running back Will Knight and receiver Marcus Vass catching two touchdowns a piece. Sussex Tech quarterback Ty’Zhir Morris finished with three touchdowns in the air for the Ravens. After tying the game at 14 midway thru the second quarter, Smyrna outscored Tech 40-8.

Both teams are back in action on Friday, with Smyrna visiting Sussex Central for their homecoming, while Tech tries to get back on track hosting Polytech.
