Salisbury Zoo closed due to flooding

According the the Salisbury Zoo official Facebook page, animals from the zoo have been relocated, after flood waters ravaged parts of the park.

47 ABC spoke with zoo officials on Thursday after the first round of rain, who said a few animals had been relocated, and the zoo was closed due to standing water near the entrances.

On Friday, a Facebook post explained the zoo was completely closed for the weekend.

Zoo officials say there will likely be a cleanup after the water subsides. 47 ABC will keep you updated as more details come in.
