Salisbury teens attacked and robbed, three suspects arrested

Police in Salisbury say they have arrested three people, one adult and two minors, in connection to an assault and robbery last month of five teens in a Salisbury neighborhood.
According to the Salisbury Police Department, the incident took place on September 25th around 1:00 AM. Investigators say, a party was occurring on the 300 block of Cedar Crossing. This particular area of the city is reportedly monitored by Stryker Security, a private security company employed by the property owners of Cedar Crossing. Reports say, Stryker Security began receiving noise complaints concerning a large party in the area and began disbursing the large crowd. As people were leaving police say, five teen males (three 18-year-olds and one 17-year-old and 19-year-old) entered a vehicle in an effort to leave the area. As their vehicle attempted to pass another group of males on foot, a verbal argument reportedly began between the two groups which quickly escalated. The suspects on foot reportedly began kicking the victims’ vehicle and assaulting the victims while they were seated in the vehicle. Police say, the victims were eventually pulled from their vehicle as the assault continued and a cell phone was stolen from one of the victims while they were being assaulted.
All the suspects allegedly fled the area on foot in an unknown direction before the police arrive. Captain Rich Kaiser with the Salisbury Police Department tell 47 ABC two of the victims were taken to the hospital for serious injured and were later released.
After review of security footage and talking to witnesses police say, 20-year-old Kenneth Bonner, 17-year-old Curtis Schoolfield, and 17-year-old Kenaz Cox all from Salisbury were identified as the suspect. Last week, all three were arrested and charged without incident for a number of robbery and assault charges. Schoolfield and Cox are being charged as adults.
