Residential burglary in Dover under investigation

The Dover Police Department reports it is investigating a residential burglary that happened sometime on Thursday.

According to officials, the burglary happened between 8AM and 4:40PM in the 800 Block of West North Street.

During that time, an unknown suspect entered the home apparently by forcing open the front and rear doors.

The report states that once the suspect was inside, they broke and damaged several items in the home before they ran away.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
