Queen Anne’s volleyball shocks North Caroline

The Queen Anne’s Lions volleyball team clinched the Bayside North title on Thursday afternoon, avenging an earlier season loss to sweep North Caroline 3-0.

The Lions started the game blazing, streaking out to win the first match 25-3. After being down 6-0 in the second, they climbed back into the game and won that one 25-13. QA would have their clinching moment in the third game, winning 25-16 to complete the sweep.

Queen Anne’s is back in action on Thursday when they travel to Bennett to attempt to finish a perfect regular season, while North Caroline visits county rival Colonel Richardson on Monday.
