Prepping underway for long awaited Punkin Chunkin

The long-awaited return of Punkin Chunkin is almost here. With just three weeks away, event organizers are hard at work.

Punkin Chunkin president Frank Payton says workers have been prepping the field in Bridgeville, which includes putting up fences for the event.

According to Payton, they’ll continue working Saturday and we’re told it should take another two weeks to get the field ready.

The event itself is November 4 through 6 in Bridgeville.
