Police looking for suspect after reported burglary in Dover

Police say they are investigating a burglary that happened on Monday in Dover.
According to the Dover Police Department, around 2AM, Monday, a man used a tool, police say it might have been a tire iron or similar shaped tool, to break the front window to Dover Express on Saulsbury Road. When the man was inside, he reportedly took a register with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled north.
Police say the register was later found by responding officers in a field, north of Dover Express. The suspect, according to police, seems like a heavy set man wearing dark clothing and white latex gloves.
Police say, the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should call Dover Police at 302-736-7130. Those callers do not have to identify themselves.
