Police conduct successful search warrant and fugitive apprehension in Dover

Ronald Jones, 38

The Dover Police Department, First State Fugitive Task Force, and Delaware State Police report that they conducted a search warrant at a home in reference to a fugitive apprehension.

Officers went to a home on the 100 Block of Willis Road where Ronald Jones, 38, was arrested without incident.

According to the report, Jones was found to be in possession of 24.1 grams of crack cocaine and a digital scale.

Jones, who was on Level 4 house arrest, was issued an administrative Violation of Probation warrant by Delaware Probation and Parole and was committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center as a result.

Officials say that Jones was also charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession with intent to deliver
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of crack cocaine tier 4 quantity
  • Possession of counterfeit controlled substance
  • Violation of probation
