Pocomoke police receive extra protection gear

Police in Pocomoke City are getting a boost of protection efforts. thanks to a local armor manufacturing business.
Hardwire, LLC has donated three ballistic tactical shields to the city police department.
Emily Tunis, president and CEO of Hardwire, says the police did have shields before the donation; however, the new shields offer a higher level of protection.
According to Tunis, this is not the first time the Pocomoke City based company has donated items to community organizations. She says they have donated similar products to other companies in the past.
Tunis tells 47ABC, Hardwire serve companie across the country but wanted to give back to the local city police department.
