“Pink is the new Greene” at Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille

“Pink is the New Greene” is this month’s theme at Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille. It is an effort to raise awareness and money for breast cancer.
All 43 Greene Turtle locations are participating, including its Maryland restaurants. It is donating$5 for every “Pink is the New Greene” t-shirt to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in several different markets including: Maryland, Washington, D.C., Central Virginia, Virginia Tidewater, Greater Philadelphia, West Virginia and Greater New York.
T-shirts will be sold at each restaurant for $10. Customers can also look forward to special pink-themed food and beverage options as well, such as pink chips in the buffalo chicken and chili nachos, grapefruit crushes, and pink shooters.
If you order one of these items, you will get a Power of Pink bracelet or a pink Greene Turtle sticker.
The campaign started October 1st. The manager at the Greene Turtle in Salisbury said at least 100 t-shirts have been sold.
The Greene Turtle’s overall goal is to raise over $30,000 for the race.
