Personal care aide arrested for falsifying business records

A Milford woman pled guilty in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas and was sentenced for crimes concerning her actions as a personal care aide.

According to the report, Bobbie Johnson, 35, of Milford, was a professional care aide working in a home, and had billed for services that she did not perform.

This apparently happened for three separate periods of time when Johnson’s patient was an in-patient in a health care facility.

Officials say a warrant for her arrested was issued in February, however Johnson was not found until a DOJ special investigator got additional leads and found her at a new in-home client’s place. Johnson was arrested in September.

She pled guilty to one count of falsifying business records and was sentenced to probation and restitution $583.
