Parkside Volleyball Earns Tough Win Over North Dorchester

The Parkside volleyball team earned a tough 4 set win Tuesday afternoon when they defeated North Dorchester 3-1. The win improves the Rams to 8-2, while the loss drops the Eagles to 6-4.

The Rams would grab an early lead after getting great play at the net from Sarah Dabipi and Kimani Smith. Parkside would build a lead, but the Eagles would eventually find their form. Myasia Jones would start to control the middle, coming up with a couple big blocks. Then Brooke Harding would get aggressive with her serves, rattling off several straight points. Parkside though would find a way to close the door in the 4th set. Facing match point, Abby Miller would return a ball to the middle and it would fall in for the point.

Parkside returns to work on Thursday when they host Snow Hill, while North Dorchester host Bennett on Wednesday.
