OC kicks off restaurant week

This week kicks off restaurant week in Ocean City. Officials tell us 22 restaurants are participating, each one offering special fixed price menu options. New this year,  organizers tell 47 ABC  some restaurants will be pairing menu items with seasonal brews. Officials say  restaurant week is way for folks to try out new places boost money into the local economy during the off-season.

“So we really encourage people to dine out, that way as they are dining out, not only do the diners get a great deal, but the waiters and waitresses, and bartenders get to make some tips,” says Susan Jones, the Executive Director of Ocean City  Hotel Motel Restaurant Association.
