No. 3 SU Field Hockey Thinking National Title With Team Loaded With Local Talent

The No. 3 Salisbury University field hockey team off to another great start this year at 10-1. The mix of talent and coaching has helped shape this team into a national title contender, as the program seemingly is every year. And just like years before, there is no shortage of local talent on this year squad.
The Sea Gulls feature 10 local athletes coming from 7 different high school from around the shore. The group includes two Delmar graduates in Paige Twilley-Webster and Tressie Windsor, one Kent County graduate in Lindsey Elgin, one Crisfield in Arielle Johnston, three Pocomoke in Annah Brittingham, Jessie Todd and Abbey Shobe, one Holly Grove Christian in Hayley Dize, one Caesar Rodney in Tara Daddio and finally one Bennett in Kristen Yingling. Several of these local stars are playing significant minutes and contributing to the teams successes.
SU returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Frostburg St.
