McPoyle Dazzles AS Caesar Rodney Rocks Dover

Thomas McPoyle scored five first half goals as Caesar Rodney rolled past rival Dover 9-0. The win improves the Riders to 7-3, while the Senators fall to 1-7.

McPoyle didn’t take very long to get started, tallying his first score just 15 minutes into the match. The Senators defense would then tighten up for a bit as the game ballanced off for the next ten minutes. But that’s when McPoyle would make his move. He netted 3 scores in just over four minutes as the lead quickly grew to four. Before the half was over, he would add one more for good measure. The Riders continued to attack in the second half as he would score four more times in rout to the big win.

Both teams are back in action on Tuesday as Caesar Rodney will host Seaford, while Dover will be home taking on Indian River.
