Mayor Gee Williams re-elected in Berlin

Tuesday night Berlin residents headed out to the polls, to vote in the 2016 Municipal election.

Results came into the 47ABC newsroom around 9:30 P.M., indicating Gee Williams took 81.1% of the vote, with Councilwoman Lisa Hall earning 18.9% of the vote.

A seat in District 2 was won by Zackery Tyndall who secured the majority of the vote over Jack Lee Orris, Jr.

Elroy Brittingham Sr. ran uncontested for a seat in District 3.

This will be Gee Williams’ third term as Mayor.
