Man arrested on gun and drug charges in Seaford

A Seaford man was reportedly arrested on drug and weapons charges in Seaford on Friday.

According to Seaford Police, around 11AM on Friday, officers enforced a search warrant on Tulip Place, because of a two month long investigation involving a heroin sale.

Because of the search warrant, Officers reportedly found a .38 caliber gun, 24 rounds of live ammunition and 95 bags of heroin weighing 9.5 grams. Williams was reportedly arraigned by video phone and committed to Sussex Correctional on $66,000 cash bond. Williams also had an active warrant for arrest out of family for not appearing with a $25,500 cash bond.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Brian L. Williams on possession of a controlled substance, heroin tier five quantity, tampering with physical evidence, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited and maintaining a drug property.
