Man arrested in Harrington for unauthorized vehicle use

On Friday, the Harrington Police Department arrested  a man for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

According to the report, in September, the Harrington Police Department responded to a home in the 100 Block of West Street for a report of an unauthorized use.

Officers say they arrived and contacted the victim who said that she lent her vehicle to a friend. Police then were able to find out that the victim’s friend then lent the vehicle to another person and that person did not bring the vehicle back.

During the course of the investigation, police identified Tamar D. Bolden, 25,  as the suspect who was given the vehicle from the victim’s friend and failed to bring it back.

Police were then able to obtain a warrant for Bolden and he was taken into custody at his home on Teatown Road without incident. He was taken to the Harrington Police Department for processing and charged with one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He was arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $1,000 unsecured bond.
